How often do we listen to someone or read something and think we understand only later to say – wow I really don’t understand – so why does it matter?’

We all have secrets -- ways we do things, how we make something work, or how we keep ourselves strong. Instead of gloating about our little secrets to success, we can share them with our colleagues and friends who might find them useful.

My phone buzzed. I looked down to see the text. “RED FLAG,” it read. A woman I’d been mentoring for the last year or so sent it. 

Women mentoring and supporting other women is a serious passion for me and while I think we are doing better we still have more work to do. It's time to do it.

Our job as leaders is to lead, which seems obvious. But more often than not leaders fail because there is no vision or plan to share and lead from.

Today I stumbled across the script of a speech I gave 20 yrs ago -- it was my first speech as a successful entrepreneur.
